Accommodation at the BBO

Waking up at Broome Bird Observatory offers a unique opportunity to experience the magnificent wildlife of Roebuck Bay amid its beauty and serenity.

Accommodation at the observatory features the Chalet - a small cottage with a pleasant beach house charm. We also provide single, double & family units and a peaceful campground. Ammenties include toilets, hot showers and access to a BBQ area and well equipped kitchen/dining shelter: the "Shadehouse". This is our excellent bush kitchen with good cooking facilities, refrigeration, plenty of seating and superb views of our birdbaths.

Unpowered sites $11 per person

Campers enjoy a natural bush setting with toilets, hot showers and access to a well equipped kitchen/dining area and BBQ.

Chalet (fully self-contained):

$105 for two persons and $10 per extra person per night (up to six persons)

Units:

Double rooms: $60

Family rooms: $70 (up to four persons)

Bunk rooms: $45 (sleeps two)

Single rooms: $35 (sleeps one)

All rooms come with shared facilities and access to a well equipped kitchen/dining area and BBQ.

Transfers are $35pp return from anywhere in Broome to BBO.

Children aged 8-12 years are half price for accommodation and camping. Children under 8 are free of charge. All prices include GST. A deposit of 20% is required to confirm all bookings. Return transfers are available for overnight guests at a cost of $35 per person.
