Birds Australia    is the peak Australian non-government organisation for the scientific study and conservation of birds as well as recreational birdwatching. Birds Australia also shares alliances with a number of conservations organisations from across the globe, including the peak international scientific and conservation body for birds: Birdlife International   . Together, we're working hard to keep the conservation of birds an important issue in the mind of the public and governments everywhere, as well as supporting a vast range of research work. more.

Working with local indigenous groups
The Observatory shares the aspirations for Roebuck Bay of the local traditional custodians of the region. We work in partnership them to help share knowledge of the bay and appreciation of the values which they treasure. We also work together in education and conservation projects on Roebuck Bay. more.
