This is the 3rd record for Broome.
Found by Adrian Boyle near Broome Port during the passing of Cylcone Ophelia. There were 6 birds in total: 2 with completely dark rumps; 1 with a very pale rump; 3 with off-white rumps.
Two birds were observed again on March 3rd.

Found by Adrian Boyle at Woolies Wetland. Seen on and off for some weeks following this in the Broome area. Last sighting March 26, 2008 at Broome sewerage works.
